AI Game Master
Begin with your first character.
AIGM begins as a conversation. Import the party one character at a time, let AIGM make the ordinary assumptions, and save the campaign-style questions until the party is ready.
AIGM
Your conversational AI Dungeon Master
Let’s build the party.
Upload four D&D Beyond character-sheet PDFs, one at a time. I’ll read each sheet, make ordinary assumptions, and ask as few questions as possible.
After all four characters are ready, I’ll ask five short questions in this conversation about the kind of game you want. No wall of permanent sliders or setup forms.
Before you begin
AIGM currently starts with the standard PDF exported from D&D Beyond. The PDF can omit some details visible on the website, so AIGM will use reasonable defaults rather than making you reconstruct every pocket and belt loop.
Before exporting, include genuinely important gear such as weapons, armor, spellbooks, and material components with a listed price or that are consumed. Ordinary class necessities can be assumed under the default setting below.
Two opening defaults
Both are recommended and turned on. Uncheck one only when it does not fit this party.
Upload the first character
Choose one standard D&D Beyond character-sheet PDF. The prototype limit is 8 MB.
The temporary access code is not stored in the browser record.
The server sends the PDF to OpenAI for analysis with response storage disabled. Character Intake 1.3.1 stores this prototype record only in this browser and lets you download it as JSON. This is not yet the permanent campaign database.
